Here are a few COVID-19 meeting protocols to consider as you plan for your next meeting or event.
Social Distancing
If you and your attendees would like to maintain social distance in the meeting room, our Sales Team can help with room diagrams and set-up recommendations so that attendees can be 6’ apart while still engaging in a successful meeting. This can be accomplished using our 34 IACC certified conference rooms. Our Norwood Conference Center rooms can allow for more space between attendees and less people per table. And, with our exceptional audio-visual offerings, any remote attendees can still be “in the room”! We offer built-in screens, projectors and speakers, microphones, and high-speed wireless internet, which are all included in our meeting package rates. Incorporating all of these social distancing meeting measures ensures all your attendees get the opportunity to learn while remaining safe.
Dining Safety: To Buffet or To Box?
The Four Points by Sheraton Norwood is once again offering our spectacular luncheon buffet as part of our complete meeting package. This bountiful buffet is served in Zachariah’s Dining Room, a common dining area with reserved seating for your meeting attendees. Enjoy an array of hot entrees and sandwiches, soup and salads and delicious desserts! In case your attendees would like to work through lunch, we can provide trays in Zachariah’s to take lunch back into the meeting room. For those meeting attendees who are still not comfortable with a buffet lunch, we can offer your attendees a delicious assortment of ready-to-go boxed lunches or a completely private lunch. Please ask our Sales Team about our private lunch option, available at a nominal additional fee.
Enhanced Cleaning Standards
Cleanliness is and always will be a priority at The Four Points by Sheraton Norwood. We have and will continue to step up our game with increased cleanings of public areas and high touch surfaces, as well as, offering sanitizer stations throughout our Norwood Conference Center and hotel. As part of our complete meeting packages, a common break area is accessible to your attendees throughout the day, offering unlimited coffee/tea and beverages along with light snacks. This is an area where we strive for safety and now include clear dome food protectors along with the additional cleanings throughout the day. And, of course, hand sanitizer readily available near the break area.
